This is one of the most asked question amongst flight crew, beside ‘where are you from?’ and ‘where do you live?’
“London!” -It’s always London and maybe will always be London.
“Okay, easy, Rasella. Picadilly Line to Green Park Station, then walk few minutes, you’ll see Buckinghan Palace, and we’ll take it from there to go to other places.” that was what i said to myself while sitting on bus to metro station. And i was right, it wasn’t that hard to go all alone. So there goes my trip, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, River Thames and the phenomenal London Eye. From here, I went to see Tower of London, then Tower Bridge and The Shard. One last hop on public bus and I was in the heart of the Oxford Street for some small shopping.
Pro Tip: if you keep on walking from the front gate of Buckingham Palace, you’ll see a beautiful city park called St. James Park, keep on walking straight and out, and Big Ben will be right in front of your eye. Beautiful!
Pro Tip 2: if you go early enough in the morning, you’ll get to see the Changing of the Guards in Buckingham Palace, too. YAY!
